Likelihood to Recommend We use Fetch alongside our website that's built on WordPress. We have some databases set up on our site that pull from Fetch folders, and in some other places on the site, we simply link to files we have stored on our server through Fetch. There is nothing fancy about Fetch—it just gets the job done!
Read full review It is well suited for clients who are on the road and they can send their receipts in for purchases from their phones. This has enabled us to get receipts prior to being lost or damaged so it makes the matching process in QBO much easier for us. Clients like to scan multiple pages at one time and vendors invoices/bills. This is less suitable as they need to do individual scans since Hubdoc cannot separate them out.
Read full review Pros Consistency: Fetch gives our employees a single portal to enter expenses, avoiding email confusion and lost paperwork. Clarity: Fetch allowed us to set up departments with one single 'approver'. This way employees would submit expenses and their boss would get a notification reminding them to review pending expenses. Support: It was easy to communicate with humans at Fetch and they were able to help us with questions we had. Read full review Extracts data from documents both from a feed and a scan really quick. Availability of automated feeds directly from the supplier. Integration with accounting software e.g. Xero (now owned by them) and QBO. Ability to auto-archive to many different cloud storage locations such as Google Drive and ShareFile. Read full review Cons Multi-currency - you can only submit expenses in USD and pay them back in USD. That hasn't been a problem yet, but I guess we'll have to ask employees to do their own conversion if they submit a non-USD receipt. Needs to have employees install the iPhone or Android app Read full review Although it is great that they can automatically get bank statements and transactions once linked, these links have been very unreliable historically. Figuring out how to set up the automatic feed is cumbersome. You can land up being inundated with useless transaction data. you have to upload each document separately. The program cannot differentiate/split PDFs. Read full review Support Rating At the time we implemented Hubdoc (more than 2 years ago) it was quite cutting edge and did have strong advances from the competition plus its pricing was definitely more competitive (flat rate vs price per data extraction model). However, currently the competition has caught up and now many of Hubdoc's core features are being built into online accounting software natively.

Read full review We did not get far into evaluating other solutions we were looking at because Hubdoc came highly recommended from peers, coupled with Xero and Gusto. The cost for Thompson-Reuters is high. We quickly honed in on Hubdoc due to cost and recommendation and are very glad that we did.
Read full review Return on Investment Fetch saves us time while working on our website. The low cost of Fetch saves on our overall budget. Read full review I don't have actual hard figures but I know it will save a lot of time for us. We can save an incredible amount of time letting Hubdoc do the tedious renaming and filing. By syncing with cloud storage like Google Drive or Dropbox, Hubdoc provides an extremely valuable service of information security by backing up our data. Hubdoc allows us to let an intern or newer employee be more productive because all they have to do is make sure that the scans are good quality and then upload the files to Hubdoc (which has a very easy to use interface). Any files that need special attention can then be addressed by a more senior member of our staff. Read full review ScreenShots
