HVS ranks very low on my list of tools for cadence and outreach management. Pipedrive, when I used it, was fairly bare bones and leveraged for a smaller book and volume of outreach. I didn't need a deep list of features at the time.

HVS should be well suited for automated email responses and cadences. However, we have been unable to get it to work as we would like it to. The cadence builder is robust, but can be a bit complicated. It's not as easy to set up a cadence, as we would like. The program isn't well suited for mass marketing emails, but more for SDR emails.

Gong is great for: - Reviewing different calls, whether it is a discovery call, demo, follow-up, technical conversation or syncs with key stakeholders - To easily map out the different sections in the call like: Pricing, competitor, next steps, etc - Share recordings with customers or prospects. You can put a time limit for how long the recording will be available

  • Fairly simple to send a one-off email to a single prospect
  • Pretty easy to update contact information b/c it's directly integrated with Salesforce

  • Source of absolute truth! So easy to see what meetings have been done, and how it was done. No more he says she says
  • Transcription - it has been accurate, and helps when trying to learn how to handle rejections

  • We haven't found anything in High Velocity Sales that we don't like. To reach out to prospects the company may use an all-in-one platform. The ability to organize, call, email, and follow up on leads is a game-changer for sales representatives.

  • Would like to have Gong use AI to alert me when a customer is at risk for attrition
  • Would like to make it easier to search on Accounts. When I type into the search field, sometimes multiple accounts appear, and when I click on one, there's an error.

Very simple to actually pull insights from the data, the transcriptions often don't need much manual fixing before presenting to the rest of the team. There is certainly work on installation, but the salesforce integration is solid and getting accounts for the whole org was seamless. Not a perfect score as I believe the transcriptions could be slightly better, especially if we are speaking to users from non-English Speaking countries.

We've had to return to ZoomInfo Engage, since High Velocity Sales hasn't worked out for us. HVS should be well suited for automated email responses and cadences. However, we have been unable to get it to work as we would like it to. Engage is not a great program either, but the simpleness has made it more effective for our current use case.

I think Gong's really helpful feature was being able to share a link to customer recordings which felt more secure and more easily accessible. Sharing setting was very customizable and allowed Smartling to ensure we were following best practices for security and privacy - this is something i've heard large companies like Accenture have issue with in regards to Zoom

  • Greater acceptance of a live conversation by our customers, especially the ones that weren't so responsive via email.
  • Greater understanding of how to better interact with every customer and personalize our workflow for each of them.
  • An increase in the good spirits among the team, since all participate in the review meetings, they are no longer shy or don't feel victimized anymore when working on improving our skillset.
