AWeber offers a free plan up to 500 subscribers and 3,000 email sends per month. Pricing for the Plus Plan is determined based on the total number of subscribers in your account. Pricing starts as low as $29.99/month (or $20/month if billed annually).
In the first formation of my business I used AWeber, and while I liked it, when I restructured it didn't feel like the right fit. I wanted something that felt more streamlined, easy to use (for a DIY, non-techy person like myself) and had more room to grow. I'll put it like …
I used AWeber years ago, and I couldn't figure it out despite having taught myself dozens of apps since 1983. Mailchimp was very expensive to compare to ActiveCampaign's most basic plan. Sendinblue was an accident and I used it for a very limited purpose. It didn't even stack …
AWeber is way too limiting. ConvertKit wasn't as intuitive and also very limiting. Mailchimp was ultra basic. ActiveCampaign was easy to figure out, enough to keep simple but have the ability to add more complexity. I'd say anyone should use ActiveCampaign. From what I've seen, …
Much more user friendly than either Mailchimp or AWeber in my opinion. Also much cheaper than AWeber. It has been easier to integrate into my business than the others, but was also very easy to transfer any info from the other platforms to ActiveCampaign.
Backend user experience is much more streamlined and robust than AWeber. AWeber also triggers weird spam wall blocks occasionally when integrating with other system’s automated forms. MailChimp simply doesn’t have the features I need.
Keap is more expensive. Used it for a bit and then went off it because of price. AWeber is great - for affiliate marketing and more, as is mailer lite. Good for beginners and simple needs when it comes to lower-ticket offers and just the need for an email marketing software. I …
I selected ActiveCampaign because many in the communities I was interacting with recommended it. It is also the software many of the platforms I interact with users and integrate directly via API.
The cost to get started is relatively low for access to automation and tagging …
The fact that it combines email, CRM, and automations between them makes it such a force to be reconned with. Its plans are reasonable and moving up from a basic plan allows 25 users for one price. This is great compared to Hubspot. It's much smoother than Mailchimp and much …
It's the easiest and most useful to use. The other products make it more complicated. ActiveCampaign also has a high deliverability rate compared to others, so it's one of the most important reasons why I love ActiveCampaign. I also love how easy it is to set up campaigns, edit …
For the price, ActiveCampaign is streets ahead. I probably use about 60% of the platform's functionality with a further 20% that I could benefit from using and intend to explore in the next 12 months. This compares to only about 25% usage with some other platforms or having to …
ActiveCampaign was more affordable and had more features than I needed. In particular, the automation, sequences, and integrations plus the ability for custom webhooks. While I like the other platforms too for various reasons, the automation and webhooks features, integrations, …

Chose ActiveCampaign
In comparison to all the other systems (except Keap), ActiveCampaign goes above and beyond for email marketing, marketing automation, and CRM functionality. It's the closest you can get to an all-in-one system.
And while Infusionsoft is also robust, it's not very intuitive. …
ActiveCampaign is the most intuitive out of all of the ones I've used. Their visual automation builder is great. I felt like every other option that I had previously played with just felt more confusing. I tested out many other tools while also using ActiveCampaign and I just …
Overall, we selected ActiveCampaign based on the features offered, the ease of use (and therefore the ease of training others to use), and the overall value for the price. The competitors I have used or evaluated in the past may occasionally be better than ActiveCampaign in one …
It's mostly just personal preference, but I found ActiveCampaign to be a more user-friendly UI and system overall. It's possible I didn't quite explore everything other service providers had to offer, but I just found AC to be so much easier out of the box. It has a ton of …
You've got to know what you want the software to do and then find software that covers as much of those needs as possible. AC had most of the features we wanted - mostly native connectivity with Salesforce and scalability. Their support structure was a HUGE selling point too. …
I always recommend ActiveCampaign to clients primarily because we can import funnels into their accounts which saves us a tremendous amount of time. I also feel that ActiveCampaign's automation is a step above other platforms. They are easier for me to visualize what's …
Pardot is in my opinion overpriced and because it relies on Salesforce as a CRM limiting as a choice. HubSpot CRM is great even in the free version, but once you need to add email automation in the mix the cost become a big factor.
ActiveCampaign dances circles around both. It's easy to learn, provides good support and training, and exactly fits our needs by providing so many options. We wish we had started out with ActiveCampaign - we feel like we lost three years monkeying around with difficult software …
At the time we used it , AWeber offered features that MailChimp (free version) wasn't offering. We used AWeber instead of Infusionsoft because of the price. We have since switched from AWeber to ActiveCampaign for our email marketing. We liked how ActiveCampaign worked. It was …
If you are evaluating an email marketing or email broadcast software that is easy to use, at a reasonable price and does the makes sure the emails get delivered in the inboxes and not in the spam folders and has all the necessary reporting functionality then try AWeber. …
The reason we [opted for] AWeber over others is for its email delivery rates. AWeber is great for freelancers, large enterprises, mid-zize business, etc. A 14% discount is available if you pay quarterly and more if you pay annually. AWeber is priced roughly in the middle of …
It is easier of a solution to work with when compared to other alternatives such as SendinBlue or MailChimp. Ultimately what I valued is the deliverability and quality to be able to deliver our emails. If you are seeking a more robust enterprise-level solution I would then …
